Sunderland Eye Infirmary offer a fantastic service for people with learning disabilities whether they are coming in for eye operations, eye tests or other appointments.
The Eye Infirmary have always been forward thinking in their care and treatment of people with learning disability.
There are lots of different departments and the staff will show you where you need to go .
There is a ward called Haygarth that you can go to for treatment or operations on your eyes .
There is also an Emergency Department for accidents or emergencies that happen to your eyes that is open all the time.
